Solenoids (Ezgo)

Ezgo Solenoids.  A solenoid is a device that uses a coil of wire and a metal rod to create a magnetic field and control the flow of electricity in a golf cart. When you press the gas pedal, the solenoid closes a circuit that connects the battery to the starter or the motor, depending on whether your golf cart is gas or electric. This makes the golf cart move forward or backward. The solenoid also protects the battery and the motor from damage by switching off the circuit when you release the pedal.
